How Gengar the GOAT handles analytics and email sign-ups, and what you can do about yours. Last updated October 24, 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for Gengar the GOAT is Second Brain Consulting. You can contact them at sales@secondbrainconsulting.co.
Analytics, autocapture and errors
We use PostHog to collect analytics about how visitors use this site. PostHog measures which pages are read, how far readers scroll on a post, how long they spend on it, and which links and buttons they click, so we can tell which posts help readers and which need work.
Clicks on page elements are recorded automatically, not only on the links and buttons we tag by hand. This is called autocapture. PostHog never records what you type into a form, and no analytics event on this site carries an email address, form contents, or health data.
Sessions are not recorded for replay on this site. Session recording is turned off in our analytics configuration.
Errors in a page are recorded so defects can be found and fixed. An error record carries the error message and the page address, with anything that looks like a password, token, or email address removed before it is sent.
Analytics events are tagged with the name of this site only. They are kept while the site operates so trends over time stay visible, and they are never sold.
Email sign-ups
The sign-up form on this site is not connected to an email service yet. When you submit it today, nothing is sent, stored, or transmitted anywhere: the form only shows a local confirmation in your browser. We measure that the form was shown and submitted, without recording the address you typed.
When the sign-up wiring goes live, this page will be updated first to name the service that stores addresses. Once the list is live, addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for them to be deleted, and every email carries an unsubscribe link.
Your choices
You can block analytics in your browser with any standard content blocker, and the site works the same without it. To ask what data connected to you is held, or to have it deleted, contact Second Brain Consulting at the address above.
